My Approach

I witness the most success during sessions where clients feel happy, heard, and respected. To create this environment, I incorporate the child's interests in an organized but play-based approach. Sessions take place on the floor, a developmentally appropriate space for young kids, rather than at the table. By doing so, I can enter into their world to target functional goals in a fun way. 

 

Parent collaboration and education are key for long-lasting success! By collaborating with families to discuss where breakdowns in communication occur, we can ensure progress is seen both in and outside of the session. I work hard to ensure the families I work with feel empowered after learning tips and tricks.

 

My ultimate goal is to help my clients build language that allows them to go through their day with ease and excitement! For me, there is nothing more rewarding than being able to discharge a client, knowing that they've gained the skills they need to confidently navigate school, home, and everything in between!
